Are there different sizes?
So, maybe you are shy and don't want to show off too much, or maybe you need a little extra coverage. Either way, Sex on a Stitch pasties and tassels come in a range of sizes.

The sizes are nothing to do with your bra size – it's all about covering your naughty bits. If you are not sure of your size, get out a ruler and check! Measure the widest part of your areoli (the fleshy area around your nipple), and choose a size that will cover all.

What are the pasties and tassels made of?
All Sex on a Stitch pasties and tassels are made with 100% acrylic yarn, and are lined with super sexy matte PVC. Some have funny little hearts and stars hand stitched on, and others have a dazzling sequins trim.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
That’s a tough one. Each pair takes a few hours to make from scratch, and all the pasties and tassels are handmade to order.
As well as the time to make them, please factor in postage time. If you are buying a pair as a gift, please let us know when you will need them. Sex on a Stitch is based in Toronto, Canada, and international postage times vary. For example, posting to the UK usually takes about 10 days.
What kind of glue should I use?
Your Sex on a Stitch products will arrive in pretty packaging, and will include a few pieces of adhesive tape. If you think you may have a reaction to the medical grade tape, please do not use it.

Sex on a Stitch is not liable for any reaction you may have to the adhesive tape. If you choose to use it, you do so at your own risk. For more information about the tape, click here.

If you choose not to use the tape that is supplied with the pasties, shop around to find the right product for you. Fashion tape, aka tit tape, is the most popular choice for attaching pasties and tassels. It’s inexpensive and easy to use. You can pick it up from your local pharmacy. You may already have some at home for *that* low-cut, A-list top you wear when you are feeling outrageous. Alternatively, burlesque professionals use pastie glue, or eyelash glue. You can buy this in specialty stores, or online. Try a Google search, and let us know what works for you. Remember, whatever adhesive you choose, always follow the instructions and the safety information.

How do I attach them?
Before unpeeling the tape, check to see how well it fits inside your pasties. You may need to trim the edges of the tape, especially for smaller pasties. To apply, bend the backing and peel the tape off from one end, keeping the top liner in tact. Position the tape on the inside edge of your pastie. Make sure your skin is clean and dry. Try to position the tape as close the edge as possible to avoid contact with your nipple. You may wish to apply two pieces of tape per pastie. When all the tape is in place, remove the protective liners. Position each pastie carefully before gently pressing it against your skin. It may help to lean forward and ‘tip’ your breast into the centre of the pastie. Do not use for more than 4 hours.
How do I remove them?
When the night is over and you’re done having fun, peel your pasties away from your skin slowly and gently. Start at one edge, and lift it very slowly! It is normal to have some red marks for some time after removing tape from the skin.
Can I use them again?
If you take care of your Sex on a Stitch pasties or tassels, there’s no reason you can’t use them again and again.

Store your pasties somewhere dry and lint free (maybe inside a plastic bag) until you want to use them again. Alternatively, you may be able to peel the old tape off and apply new tape. This doesn’t always work, so be gentle first and if you find that the PVC lining is lifting away from the stitching, it may be a better idea to just add more tape on top the next time you want to wear them.

If you are using pastie or eyelash glue, you may be able to clean the PVC lining with a little spirit gum.

Different products have different effects on the PVC, so we are not liable for any damage the glue may do to your pasties, sorry.
I’m from the UK. Aren’t pasties something you eat for lunch?
Ah, you’re thinking of Cornish pasties (pronounced with a soft ‘a’, as in ‘last’).

Sex on a Stitch only deals in the kind of pasties you wear, so called because you literally paste them onto your body.
